Cecil Aldin painted a picture of the West Front of
Wells Cathedral (Somerset)
Just out of interest I wondered whether anyone might know
where the original is. I have seen numerous prints and would just
like to see the original if possible.
I have an interest in that I was born not far from the cathedral.

I guess you have already looked but I can't find it on google, probably in a private collection, maybe somebody to do with Well cathedral.

I found prints, but not able to find any history.
Perhaps, as you suggest,i make contact with Wells Cathedral.
