As we enter a new year
one canĀ“t help but reflect
back on the past year
and the path we have trecked
On the tears that we shed
like glitter down our faces
Of the laughter we rumbled
in our happy places
Some have seen a new begining
A baby born, a marriage shared
Others have collected memories
that never will be heard
Not everybody made it
from last year into this
and all those now in heaven
we share a silent kiss
Nobody knows what is in store
what the next 12 months will bring
I wish you luck and happiness
and joy that makes you sing.
To the new friends I have made
and the old ones by my side
I send my thanks for being there
holding my hand when I cried
I thank you for the laughter
For the happiness and smiles
For the good times you have given
That reached me across the miles.
Now it is the New Year
Celebrations are abound
New memories that are waiting
new adventures to be found.
Enjoy, Have fun
Have many a giggle
and with these wishes
I will leave with a wiggle

An earthly dog of the carriage breed;
Who, having failed of the modern speed,
Now asked asylum and I was stirred
To be the one so dog preferred.
