I am happily not Disabled
So don't mind parking at the back of the store
if needs must :-D :-D

Let the poor unfortunate Disabled have their parking spots :-D

i only know because one day when i had my arm in plaster my daughter in law took me shopping and i forgot my blue badge because i was in her car..we parked in a disabled bay and she got a fine . i sent a photocopy of my blue badge the address on the fine but it made no difference and Asda said it was out of their hands...

I wish they did in our ASDA Stella

Its just laziness on the part of able bodied people
who are thoughtless

Disabled people get those stickers for a reason :-( :-(

You get fined for using a disabled bay in Asda and not displaying a blue badge... they use a private company to patrol the car parks :-)

We never did claim a disabled badge when we were entitled but I do admit to taking one or two liberties.

We would not leave the car unattended in a disabled bay but OH has gout and, on an occasion he needed to do something I couldn't do for him, I did drop him off and wait in a disabled bay for him.

If only people would not abuse the concession there could be a little bit of leeway, we all have the odd short-term disablement.

I think all the non disabled parkers in Disabled bay
Should have a Great big sticky sticker slapped on their windscreen

You know those really sticky ones
that come off in tiny pieces and stick for England
And take hours to get off ;-) ;-) ;-)

Done Ann, prime example yesterday local Asda had 2 spaces taken up by a crane. It was not in use at all which made it even worse.

Many with disabilities struggle just getting in & out of a parked car, disabled bays are essential. It should be illegal for any non blue badge holder to park their car in a space reserved for those with disabilities. Without this 'The Equality Act 2010' is no longer effective.
?More details

Abuse of disabled parking bays is *rife all over the UK. Vehicles, skips, storage, smoking areas, temporary buildings, cancer screening/blood donor vehicles, temporary displays and more appear all too often in these bays, stopping those who NEED them from using them. Emergency Service Vehicles should ALSO have their own separate parking bay(s) to stop abuse of the disabled parking facilities - a disabled person cannot undo their disability.
