Fly, let me tell you why my house is magnolia inside (apart from two rooms recently done in soft linen which is magnolia masquerading. Whenever he was bored he'd ring and say that he was going to paint this, that or the other room. Would you let him choose a nice soft blue or sea green? ;-) ;-) ;-)

Belle, I am going to run hard copies off. I was going to do that immediately but one of the cartridges was empty. I shall buy tomorrow.

K came down and said that we need a pink cartridge the next time I shop.

Me: Pink?

Him: Yes, cyan.

Is it any wonder I never ever let him pick colours around the house. :-0 :-D

I sent them on the 16th, Joy....one had the son Arthur J's Marr Cert attached. :-D

Belle, when did you send them?

I think I have everything - you told me that their son went to Detroit with them and I've had a quick look and found that he married in Michigan and had children.

They had five children (that I've found) but one died. Although I only have years of birth it looks as though Ruth and Ralph Ernest could have been twins - Ruth died. I also found a marriage for one of Alfred's sons. (We have twins in every family branch and one set of triplets,)

The daughters seemed to have settled in Vancouver - mentioned in a document you sent me when one of their daughters was travelling with her Grandmother.

I could not find info for the other daughter but someone's tree has her marrying and having two children, one a girl and the other still private.

The Vancouver connection floored me because when I was there about 9 or 10 years ago I was staying about half a mile from where they lived.

Vancouver's a super duper city and we enjoyed our time there but it would have been even more enjoyable if I'd had this history of my Grandfather's sister before I went.
