Thank you everyone - I missed the "boat" on the date that is as I traveled in 1962.

My parents went to Malta by boat in 1948. They didn't migrate - dad was stationed there - he was in the Fleet Air Arm.
Parents and 2 brothers came back on the Empire Windrush in 1951.
I have a photo, a badge and the the menus to prove it
No passenger list for either journey on FMP - probably because they were in the Forces.

I take their name out, and just leave the ship's name - Empire Windrush, and no date.
There are 10,348 results - all ending in 1960!!

As far as I know, don't think anything that recent is available online?

It's possible that you travelled just after the Cut-Off date.

With a few exceptions, passenger & immigration lists stop 1960-1962.

UK records end at 1960 but they only show sea travel not air. unless there is something in the US that show your entry.?nothing public will show for the UK.

where are you looking for the records?

Ancestry and FindMyPast have the best records

Are you sure that the records are available so recently.?

Was you ticket booked London->Shannon->New York->LA

or was the international part from Shannon->NY booked separately?
