This morning I knew I had better get out of bed because the alarm was going off. Not the alarm clock but the car alarm of somebody who brings their child to the primary school every morning and picks them up every afternoon. While they walk off up to the school to meet their child their alarm sings its morning and afternoon song.

They break up tomorrow but I have no worries about knowing when to get up because, loud and clear, that starling out there in the garden is going off!

I BOUGHT AN ALARM FOR MY HOME YEARS AGO. DAMNED THING WAS ALWAYS GOING OFF.

HAVE ONE IN THIS BUNGALOW, DON'T USE IT. THE CATS DO A BETTER JOB.
