I got a shock this afternoon when I bumped into a colleague I hadn't seen for a fair time.

The shock wasn't particularly that I met her in the street but the fact that she enquired if I had seen one of her own best friends she had known for many years. Her enquiry referred to a lady who sadly had died of cancer nearly 12 months ago.

We are blessed with multiple communication methods. Yet, how easy it is to lose touch.
