It really has been a dreadful year with the sad passing of so many celebrities and well known names. Let's try to focus on the pleasure/enjoyment/ and fun they have brought into our lives.

We've had a lovely Christmas

We had a surprise party on boxing day for my mum who's 86 she loved it weplayed silly little games of bingo and had a quiz

I didn't win but I didn't lose :-D

But the best news of all was

My daughter has been doing her master's degree in chemistry and passed

With a distinction which is the highest you can get
So she is now a

Master of science

Well today is payday, thats always good news for me, well, till baby S finds out that is :-|

oh and tomorrow night is new yrs eve, lovely evening with my crazy family, for love laughs, food, drink n board games! I cant wait!

It's been an awful year - both personally and 'in the news'.

However -

I have recently lost about half a stone (not really trying!)
Our poorly dog is now almost back to normal
I've just bought myself a new handbag :-D

Well let me see...had a terrific Christmas Day with my family,
Was spoilt rotten and so was OH :-D

My lurgy is at last going away and my voice is getting back to normal
was fed up sounding like Minnie Mouse :-D

Everything in hand for Hogmanay, family and friends coming to us.
All good here Stray, counting our blessings so nothing to complain about. <3

Oh and I'm off to the hairdressers cause I'm looking like an old English Sheepdog
which is not a good look for a Scottish lassie ;-)
