'While stocks last' - tend to attach itself to such 'special' offers.

So I will keep pressing for limits in the future then sounds sensible enough !

They wouldn't have got through the checkout at our local supermarket.

One supermarket stopping a charity buying food - another letting either a restaurant or fast food outlet buy all the bargains.
Neither is right.

I know with a limit you can keep coming back in but at least it slows you down and gives others a chance !

I did talk to the staff and suggest they do limits from now on lets see if they do...I'm all for a bargain but that took the you know what......without tarring everyone with the same brush.....lets just say these were Eastern Europeans so probably re-sale....

That used to happen in local supermarkets here until limits were imposed.

Didn't matter what was on special; meats, vegetables, cool drinks etc.

The bulk purchasers were the owners of local Asian restaurants who would leave with trolley-loads of stuff, to the detriment of other shoppers :-|

I wonder if the store where Caroline was shopping will think of doing that after that trolley load was checked out?

Surely when a store has a good deal like that they put a limit on the number of packages one can buy? There is always a limit, usually 3, where I live.

These are good quality ones and are a loss leader for the store.

The irony is they bought nothing else...

If you knew the secret life of budget chicken breast you would be happy that these selfish people have saved you from much trouble.

Shopping this morning there was a good deal on chicken breast less than half price....anyway doesn't matter what the item was it was a great deal....someone came in and emptied the shelf whilst her friend literally blocked everyone else and filled the whole trolly up leaving nothing for anyone else.
I , like a coward, just put up with it and watched them smile as they walked off

What I should have done was start taking them out and handing them to the seniors who were too polite to object !!
