Try putting a posting on the Rootschat.com - Limerick Board.

Karen - Years ago, I used to work with a Limerick lady who belonged to the Limerick Association in London.

I don't know if it still exists but they might provide some information or put you in touch with relevant colleagues.

Good luck with the project.

Unfortunately, most people on this site do not just happen by the Boards.

In fact, I think the vast majority do not know about this part of the site.

In addition, many (if not most) of the members have free membership, and cannot post on here or contact other members.

The usual way to find out if other members have connections with you is to search all member trees, and then contact them via pm ....... but that won't work in this case.

sorry!

Not sure if this is on the right board....

My family are involved in a project to celebrate 150 years of their local village school in Ireland and are appealing for stories and photos to publish in a book to celebrate the occasion. The school is Martinstown National School in Limerick Ireland.

A bit of a long shot but if anyone on the boards has a connection let me know and I will pass on their details.

Thanks
Karen
