Please can anybody tell me if still births were still put on the birth registers in the late 50s, we have been lead to believe that there were twins in the family and one died at birth but I can't find any record of this. |

The birth of the surviving twin would be on the birth index, but would show as a single birth there. |

I'm not entirely sure if a still birth in the 1950's would automatically appear on the Still Birth register or whether is was a voluntary registration. |
