Hi I am researching into the Daniel Parker Pellatt family, he was a solicitor from Banbury
Daniel was born in 1823 in Kent and moved to Banbury about 1837 ? and lived the rest of his life here, he died on March 12th 1886. at his home 37 South Bar Street (now estate agents offices )
I daily pass this house and I would love to learn more about this family and if possible to see any family photos if they still exist
He was a Clerk Of The Peace for this town for over 20 years

Sadly I am not related,
I was researching into the life of Queen Victoria's first bagpiper a Angus MacKay when I found out that his eldest daughter Jessie MacKay born 1842 was governess to the Pellatt family and Jessie married Daniel in 1880 after the death of his first wife Hannah ..........
to find that Angus's daughter should have lived here and walked the same streets as I do now is just amazing.
so now my search is to find more about Daniel and Jessie and their family life.
can anyone help please........
