Judy Murray was her son's coach/manager until his potential outranked her abilities.

As she was divorced from her husband, she had to borrow money and remortgage her home twice to pay for Andy to to train in Barcelona

I'm not her biggest fan but, without her, how far would Andy's career have taken him

Her sons wouldn't be the champions they are without her. She was given an OBE today, so she must have done something good.

I don't like her much but give the woman her due. She was a player and professional coach long before her sons became famous.

Really can't see who she is other than the mum of a tennis player

Supposed she is trying to make a living but it seems to be on the back of her son . She always seems to be described as the mum of Andy Murray so she can have an identity
Something about her though puts me off :-(

Wasn't she sacked as her sons manager/coach? Perhaps she needs another source of income!

In the interview, she warned parents that very very few children become successful tennis players who are able to earn a living. She also warned them that the professional player has to self-fund. From that aspect, the interview was interesting. Other than that - it was of no interest to me.

The sporting equivalent of "Don't put your daughter on the stage, Mrs Worthington"

She has brought a book out & been on One Show this week & Lorraine promoting her said book .are we really interested .Her sons are top class players but.Mum ? really
