A new one on tonight and I am enjoying it except……….Kevin Whatly has a main part and no matter how I try to ignore it, I can’t help seeing him as Lewis. Albeit a bit older Lewis.

I kept thinking that too. Just shows how typecast he is.

Somehow I managed to miss this last night.

Remember him in Auf Wiedersehen Pet?

I actually thought it was a good one. Loved hearing the songs from Pirates of Penzance.

Jl, I loved that programme. Wasn't he in Peak Practice too a long time ago?

versatile chap, top copper in one series and a bent ex cop in another!

JoyLouise Report 31 May 2023 09:34

Yes, he was Florence.

I had never watched Peak Practice until lockdown when I decided to watch it from scratch.

I did the same with other unseen series during lockdown, sitting on an afternoon with my coffee. It reminded me of Mum who used to watch ‘her programmes’ in the afternoons, <3

Dtr bought me the latest Vera book for Christmas and I enjoyed it.
