We had a magpie that persistently took out a ball we had put in the pond to stop it icing over.
I changed the ball which was not so colourful and it gave up :-D :-D :-D

I did not know about the eggs Belle. Something shiny, only my hair. :-D :-D

I used to have a book when I was a kid with British Birds in it. The only one I really remember is the Shrike. The Butcher Bird. :-0 :-0

We have one cheeky Magpie that struts up and down the balcony wall at the back of the house. Then comes and looks in the window. :-0 :-0
