Energy prices going down

I got an email from my energy supplier which is Utilita (I'm all electric) advising me that from the 1st Jul my prices are changing.

My first 2 units of each day will be reduced by 2.5p(inc vat)
All other units reduced by 2p per day(inc Vat)

So I reworked last months bill and that would save me £5.91

Might not sound much but it's a step in the right direction. That £5.91 would buy me a little more food.

Has anyone else had a notification from their energy supplier saying the same thing?

Yes, Florence I've had notification from BG to say that prices will be coming down from 1 Jul but I haven't seen by how much :-)

I have both electricity and gas with them....I hope they do something about reducing the daily standing charges which I think are currently 33p for Electric & 29p for gas, so that is 62p per day before you've used any energy:-0

Not had one yet, but OH has had to send his spreadsheet in as there is something odd going odd.
It only amounts to about £10 but that is a lot to some people.

Ah I see, we don't have a daily charge but instead the unit prices are slightly higher.

When we first moved here and switched supplier, I worked out the difference and we are slightly better off.

Yes names £10 is a lot to many people.
