My Nan Mossie Rose Crane, was born in 1901, and am wondering do any of her sisters/brothers descendants have any photos of my Nan and her family members from when she was young ? She married my Grandad "John Henry Crane" around 1920.

David, this is a long-shot! I don’t think this is the best medium to ask for photos. Have you tried notices, highlighting their names, in shop windows and notice boards or in newspapers local to where they lived and had children?

Thanks everyone for your comments etc, its much appreciated. We only have 1 son of John Crane & Mossie Rose Torble, and his memory isnt very good right now, and his son and other family members are helping but Shirley has been most helpful

It’s a free site which lists birth marriages and deaths records giving the GRO refs that you wouid need to buy a copy certificate from
