Presumably you have started you tree with recent people, and have worked backwards into previous generations.

If so, I assume the tree is correct up as far as the son's children.
You have then given them the wrong father.
What about their mother? Is the actual mother also missing from your tree?
Or have you "married" their grandfather to their mother?

Please give us as much detail as possible.

Where have you got this tree?

I have just found that I have missed a generation in my tree.
The father and the son have the same name and I carelessly missed adding the son and proceeded for another 12 generations..
I need to add that missing generation but I don't know how to achieve that without deleting everything and starting again.
Does anyone know if this can be done easily? :-S
