Thats great RDA, many thanks to all concerned. I usually write 'The Gaynor Bear Relay' on the back of the cheques I receive, so we know how much the relay has raised. So could you do the same on the back of the cheque you have please, so Diana knows to add it to our total raised. Jenny x

Hi there.....I have a mini press release from our local paper...will send it down with GB when she makes her way back to here!! Also have a donation from the Glenfinnan meet.....(yes guys I've still got it!)....but as my bank wants to charge me £25 to put the money into the charity account....I won't be doing that...so I have agreed with Diane to forward on a cheque to her instead and she will do the donation on our behalf :).....sorry Diane not got around to doing that yet.....as you know I'm a bit up in the air just now but.....I promise to forward it on asap!!! Think when Woody has her there was plans for me to pick up GB from Skye and take her back on the ferry to me and Polly and await further instruction.......for who next to forward her on to :-) RDA.x.

Hi Sheila, thanks for the details, I can plot the route out on my map now. Have decided not to let GB go to New York, so it doesnt matter if GB is still in Scotland during November. The 'wedding' is still on between Gaynor Bear and Beau Bear. Wedding dress is being made by Vivienne as I speak. Looking round now for an outfit for Beau. Jenny x

Jenny Sorry, had trouble getting back on here after my earlier post, very slow, dreaded blue screen! The route is as follows - Perth - Marion in Scotland Dundee - Jennifer Malone (my niece and a recent member, not been on a lot as she has a 10 month old son) Montrose - Lucia Stonehaven - Raven Aberdeen - Kathy by the Sea New Deer - Sue Hazzard Ardersier - Woody, who then has plans to hopefully get GB to John o' Groats, Stornoway and thence to Skye, where she will then come back to Polly & RDA for a link back to me. I would suspect it will take at least until the end of the month for her to get to Woody, and then it will depend on Woody's timetable for the next bit. Will look into that shortly. At that point if at all possible Jilly would like to take GB with her on a chemo visit to WGH here in Edinburgh. Think that brings you up to date. Must go to bed now. Take care. Sheila

Hi Sheila, thank you for letting us know what, where and who GB is with. Sorry to hear the weather was so bad, must have been awful. Do you have a list of where GB is likely to go to over the next few weeks? Will try and get in touch with Woody to see if she has the updated 'Press Release' Little concerned that I do not know who Jen is, she has PM'd me today. ??? Telling me that she is about to have contact with GB. I have always been told, and have had contact with every person who transports GB around. I really do need to know who has GB when and where. It has always been the policy. I am sorry I have not been around folks, Have been away and now poorly with Shingles, so have not posted much. Plus I am still very undecided as to whether I want to post on GR after all the upheavel during the last week. Jenny. xx

Hi Jenny Sorry, worked late tonight and not long in. No there was no press release that I saw, and GB is now on her way to Marion in Perth courtesy of my friend Christine who also lives in Perth and just happened to be in Edinburgh yesterday and today for a conference! You sent something to Woody, didn't you, before GB got here? Maybe she has the update. Obviously Jan is still having problems, so I shall just briefly tell you of GB's doings in Edinburgh. Callum & I took GB to Edinburgh Castle on Saturday in torrential rain, so not much chance for photographs, I'm afraid. She saw the Honours of Scotland (Crown sceptre etc) and the Stone of Destiny. We also went into the museum and looked at some really old weapons and uniforms and flags. At 1pm we rushe doutside into the rain to see the man fire the One o' clock Gun. It was very loud!! Jan met us and she and Callum took GB home. Callum took her to school on Monday and was allowed to take her round the classes and tell her story. Then she went to judo, and managed a trip up Arthur's Seat. Since then she has enjoyed a comfy spot on my settee and helped me in the garden on a lovely sunny Sunday. Marion will have her soon, then Gb will go to Jennifer in Dundee and on to Lucia after that. Will contact you soon Lucia. Sheila

I have had a request for the updated 'Press Release'.. ....but I cannot remember who was going to update it for me, around the time that GB entered Scotland. I am not sure if there is a copy with GB's belongings. Could you have a look for me Sheila. Cheers Jenny.

Hi Jennie, sympathies about the shingles I had it last Christmas although luckily I wasn't too bad. strange that your son had it I didn't think you could catch shingles from shingles, if you see what i mean. anyway, hope you will soon feel better. How is son? Any after effects? What a pity you had to cut short your holiday too. I assume that Gaynor bear is staying with GR? Well done on the £4000. Ann Glos
