Well i feel she wants the person who is feeling sorry for themselves to snap out of it. Someone is mollycoddling them a bit and this isn't doing them much good. They've got to help themselves a bit more. Does this make sense?

Was the lady with alzheimers a bit hard sometimes when people were ill? She would tell people to snap out of it and upset them

Merry Report 28 May 2006 00:04

She is very much around you at the moment. She is fond of your children. Would you understand a situation around you where someone is drowning in self pity? (hence why they brought the drowning scene up)

Wine and carpet? No, but someone was talking to me yesterday about that happening! Lady with Alzheimers was VERY houseproud. We would have been shot (ooh, LOL) if we had spilled wine on her carpet! Merry

No, not really, but she was a very old fashioned person.....we used to say she belonged to an era before her birth .......should have been a Victorian, but was born 1920! merry
