Last week my parents had a new kitchen floor. The saga has gone on for nine weeks and more Mind you, the tiles were finally laid A very nice job the workers had made. Now over the weekend my dad heard a sound water running- but the source couldn't be found. Our phone rang early (six thirty) today. 'I am really worried 'my dad did say Putting his tools in the car my hubby went to see And he rang the builders very early. Quite what had happened I'm sure you can guess They had screwed through a pipe-oh what a mess! Romantic Ron (I'll pop this in here) Is that a good name for you my dear? So back to my watery tale of today The floor has to dry before the tiles can they lay. This whole to- do has worn me out And my parents are fed up without a doubt.

Don't fancy going out in this cold not even to get Ron's hand to hold Ever so busy I've been again these last couple of weeks and it's testing my brain For I'm organising a big Celebration at the theatre here Great and good are invited to attend you see I need all your best wishes to send to me Hoping the preparation is nearly done and keeping fingers crossed everyone Invited will enjoy who attends so its all worth all the effort in the end

By the way, what’s that sound I hear? Ron has shut himself up in a box, I fear Could his packing have got out of hand? Should we offer to lend him a hand?
