This is for those of you who have been struggling non-smokers for a short while and the novelty has worn off . You can't now remember why you are doing this. People have forgotten that you are are in great discomfort and using all your will-power and have begun to take your efforts for granted. So let me shout this - WELL DONE! It is the best gift you will give yourself. WE HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN YOU! TGXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Hi All, Thank you all so much for your encouragement. Tomorrow I am off to Portugal for a few days. I am looking foward to some sunshine :-) I am a little worried on how the non smoking will go with so much time on my hands. I have failed on two previous occasions while in holiday so guess its the association thing thats scaring me. I will try my very best can not promise more than that. I will remain positive. I will return on June 12th, relaxed, tanned & smoke free. Ang x

Good evening everyone Well apart from those blips I have hit my 30 day mark today and I'm really chuffed to pieces. Today has been really stressful as the vendors of a house I'm buying for my Dad are playing silly buggers and it looks like the sale may fall through - I could have eaten a packet of cigs but kept telling myself even if I had a puff of a cig or 20 packets it wouldn't make any difference as the house sale would still be in a mess!! Hope everyone else if ok. James I think you are our rock! three cheers for James hip hip hooray!! You keep the gang focused and on track and bring us all together -BIG ((((((((((HUGS))))))))))) Carole/Debs - ((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))) to you as well, you inspire me to keep going Ange (((((((((HUGS)))))))))))) You are doing great This non-smoking lark is making me all soft!! Well done, Carol and Janet does she have a computer? Debs Your sense of smell is sure improving, watch the speeding - No Tickets please !!! 'Please sir he was smoking, is no excuse!!' Joy Glad you were able to resist and have a productive day and get so many records. Ang Not an expert, It could be because you are not using patches, it is putting a strain on your body and it is reaction to the lack of NICOTINE causing the rash, if it continues go and see your doctor. Joanne Well done, nice to see you back and staying on the wagon, you certainly sound most positive in your post. Keep up the good work everyone. James

Quick question, Has any body had a rash through giving uo the fags?? Tonight I have a rash on both arms , I can not think of what it could be. I have not eaten anything different or changed washing powder or perfume. I am quite sensitive so am careful about what I use. Maybe just a coincidence but thought I would see if anybody else had experienced similar symptons. Ang x

Hi Y'All, Glad everyone is doing fine, in 7 hours (10pm my time) I hit 2 months/9 weeks on Saturday!! So proud of myself, and can honestly say I would never touch another. This morning at 6.45am I had just dropped hubby off at the metro station, coming down the highway and sat at a red light I smelt smoke, looked to the guy in the car next to me and he was chuffing away, wouldnt mind but as its so hot here I have to have car windows open as my aircon is broken and all I was getting was the smell from his cigs, had to get in front of him when we started moving as couldnt cope with smell at the next light. Sad thing is 2 months ago that would have been me smoking at that time of the morning! How is Joanne doing? Debs x

Hi Joy, our thoughts with you when you visit the wicked aunt!!! Still it will be only for a short period of time before you can escape. Thank you for starting these threads and all the help it has given to people trying to quit the WEED it certainly does help from the replies Best of luck James
