Hello All, What a game I had this morning, could not get on to the message list at all. All I could get onto was the schools one. Even had trouble talking to Brenda in Oz her MSN was on a go slow. Jan I seem to have set you off with the photos of all that snow in Canada. How about going to the North or South Pole after your wedding LOL. You could perhaps stay at that ICE HOTEL. Nice to see people are coming back to the site. Catch you all later. Tat Tar June.

just to tell you I have no excuses to say where I have been, but we had a knock on the door on monday to say that the council wanted to re insulate our loft, and when would be convenient. Needless to say I said NOW!. Well they got cracking there and then removing the old and preparing for the new. Then it was time to pack in for the day. So yesterday Tuesday they were back and finished the job for us. Well you ask what has this got to do with not getting on the thread? the access to the loft is in the same room as my comp. so I was not able to use it, had it covered to prevent dust getting in it. We were advised to let the dust settle for the rest of yesterday, and now we are cleaned up all ship shape and Bristol fashion. So to you all Hello once again. I had a lettter from the Hospital to-day asking me to ring for an appointment to see the Specialist rang them this morning and I have an appointment for next wednesday, Not bad eh! The thing is I feel a bit of a fraud because I am back to normal, well as normal as possible. Still better safe than sorry. There goes the phone again It is probably a wrong number but I will have to answer it, as Mary is calling me. So ttfn from Jim and Mary C.

Hi All - It's that man again! What gave you the idea that I have a bike June? The only exercise I do is Tai Chi (oh! and roll a fag), you have all probably seen the advert on telly, where the bloke (I wonder where that word came from?) joins a Yoga class to impress his new girlfriend, and falls over while on one leg! That's me on a Monday morning at 11 a.m. only I usually don't hit the floor. It makes me sweat just thinking about Faith's neighbour, (by the way - how is he Faith?) doing things in his basement gym! Faith, my call-out charge - for home maintenance, is £500 plus travel x's and three meals a day, oh! and danger money in case I have to fight off any Black bears. ROTFL ;-)))))} Jim, you look back on form, I hope Mary is too? You saying it's best to be safe than sorry - my Doc. has changed my medication without so much as a bye your leave. I asked for my usual repeat prescription, I was on Celebrex (the one the yanks recon causes heart attacks), and I think I have been on it so long that they could be wrong. As my brother died from a stomach ulcer (probably caused by his medication, at least that's what I think!) I was very happy with Celebrex. This morning was nice and sunny, no frost - probably because I put a lamp in the outhouse to stop the taps from freezing - Sods Law again! 8-)))))))} Tarrarabit - John xxxxxx

Back again trying to be awake, but having trouble keeping my eyes open. Mary is the same. We both had bad nights, about 2 hours sleep in dribs and drabs. Don't ask me why, we have single beds and my sleep walking days are well and truly over!! Mind you I did have a lot of correspondence to read through from a certain person who shall remain anonymous!! How she finds the time to rifle through days gone by I will never know, but she does. YAWN!!! keep nodding off and waking with a start. So I will have to give in to sleepy time and sign off. LLLOL from Sleepy eyed Jim and Weary Mary C.

Hello everyone ! Ok so it all happened today rather than Monday but I'm soooo excited. At least we will satisfy Faith's curiosity a little earlier. Well, my GG grandfather was a moderately well known landscape painter who had an impressionist period towards the end of the 1800s. I have been in contact with an art dealer for ages as he had 3 of his works in his personal collection that he put details of on the internet. When I asked he said they were not for sale. He contacted me recently to let me know a small work was on ebay and advised me to go for it if in good condition. It was actually damaged so I decided not to bid. Then by sheer coincidence another descendant of the painter who is also a GC member but who I knew nothing about phoned the dealer about his works too. The dealer put us in contact and we realised we were both on Genes. He said he would sell his works to her but she didn't take him up on it. I told my mum they now looked as if they were for sale and she bought them !!!!!!! The dealer deliverd them to her in person today and they are apparently really good. Can't wait to see them in a couple of weeks time. So this week both Jan and I have discovered new cousins. Three of my GG grandfather's paintings that were lost to America came back into the family and Jan got a new job !! A very-well chuffed Rick (and to nick Jim's sign-offs lol) an equally jolly Jan.xx
