Hi All, Update on mum. Saw her tonight, and she`s fine. Been working with the physio team, trying to get some strength into her legs. Eating and drinking well, and fully coherent. She hasn`t read your good wishes yet, but asked me to thank you all for your concern, and prayers. That`s about all at the moment. Again many thanks, Barry. xxx

Brilliant news to hear your mum is feeling better about everything Baz Your mum is a brave soldier, she'll come through. My mum is 83 and if it wasn't for the tablets she takes, she would be in a wheel chair, I thank the Lord for modern technology. Lisa xx

Mums update. Just seen her, and was surprised with the change in her. She is almost back to her old self. Takes herself off for a walk along the corridor, with a walking frame, and generally, in good spirits, and really looking forward to going home. My cold, I think, turned out to be hay fever. So all in all,not a bad day. YES. Barry

Quick update on mum. Spoke to dad tonight, who said mum was going to the toilets, with the help of a walking frame, very slowly, but getting there. She`s eating a bit more, and feeling more at ease with what has happened. Physio, are going to help her get her strength back. All I know at the moment. Again, thank you all for your support, and good wishes. Barry.

When is your mother leaving hospital? My father also had a pouch. He had bowel cancer. A friend of ours also has one and you wouldn't know that he is wearing one. Is your cold now over, best wishes, Sylvia

Baz, now isn't the time to indulge in a cold, tell it to go away at once..... Meanwhile - thinking about you and your mum. Love Norah x
