Janet, my brain hurts! How do I enter him even temporarily if I dont know where he fits? On the census John Faiers is the cousin of William Potter, so this means Johns mother could have been William's father's sister or William's mother's sister( i think)but I dont know those details, and to make matters worse I have discovered in those days terms werent the same--son in law sometimes meant stepson etc! So perhaps cousin meant something else! I'm going to give up on this branch I think I have another problem--as I visit nearly every day,I dont want to wait 14 days to see if ther have been new messages added to my names summary, so I have clicked amend with different numbers and nothing works- it is always set at 14 days--what am I doing wrong please?
