Lynn,if you have already done some research into your roots, enter all that you know and start building your tree, all the names in your tree will then be read by the readers of this site, and if anyone recognises them they will contact you. Otherwise if you just have a few names , enter them in one by one in the search board and see if there are any matches. Remember this site was designed to link people up, it cannot trace everyone's family tree for people- for that you need to get birth and marriage certificates and look up your relations in the censuses from 1841 onwards, other ways of finding info is through online sites-familysearch, freebmd, cwgc, ellisisland, and family history societies, wills etc, etc,
