Good afternoon everyone,

A lovely sunny day as Jacky has said here in Liverpool. A nice win for the Reds yesterday, nice touch was that as we were walking home after watching the game in our local wine bar, a blue came over to us and shook our hands and said 'Well done'. How good is that!? It's a great shame that England didn't go on to win the World Cup yesterday especially as I'm not normally interested in Rugby but did make a point of watching both our semi and the final.

I'm not doing much either today, caught up on housework yesterday, decided to treat it as a normal weekend and get it out of the way, bit more to do but now have the rest of the week to do it cos it's half term. Which also means that we only have about nine weeks give or take til Christmas!

Well the weather certainly has been lovely, nice to be able to go for the paper without coat buttoned up to the neck!

I had a slight disaster before. Working away at some invitation cards I am making for a friend, OH had brought a cup of tea up. Just about to take a sip and spilt the tea, well at least a third of the cup, and didn't it go over the keyboard! Eeeeek! Tipped it upside down straight away to let the tea run out, ran and got a towel to wipe up the desk OH is busy picking up the invitation cards I have already made so they don't get covered. Then a brilliant suggestion: ' ... why don't you get the hairdryer out to finish off drying it once most of the tea runs out.' Great idea, and it seems to have done the trick, keyboard working fine! These things are sent to try us! Oh and the invitations were fine, not a mark on any of them. Phew!

Well looks like the sun has shone on us all - that's obviously cos we're a righteous lot! And it looks too that we've all been busy. Have fun decorating Rog and Rose.
