Great performance from Diversity - they deserved to win, i'm glad for Susan too, take the pressure off her i hope.

I'm off out, getting the ferry over to Birkenhead and then take a walk along to New Brighton - have lunch and a drink on the way...Lol

What a gorgeous day, we went to OHs mum's to watch the game with his dad and then had a bbq. We may be RED through and through but really wanted Everton to win today, It wasn't to be their day.

I went to town and it was packed, everyone buying summer clothes, i think it would have emptied out now - except the pubs, they were crowded very early, you could hear them all singing Everton songs.............Lol

Going in the garden myself now ......read my papers and catch up on all the Gen....

The weather has been gorgeous and i have had a lovely week off school and enjoyed spending so much time with Leigha and Vicki - so going to miss those two girls next week. We had fun swimming on Wednesday, my aunty and Uncle - GtGtAunt and Uncle to Leigha were thrilled to see her and commented on how pleasant she is. We're all very proud of our little girl and my big girl too - a great mum!

Wish I was fit, Rose - just know we had a great week and managed to cram a lot into it.

Off to bed now, glad to have managed to catch up with you all.

Morning All

Rose, when i went yesterday afternoon, the doctor said they were not right....Again, i was told to go back this morning, they are a lot better but the prof has instructed i have new ones made, the lady who looks after me said this hasnt been done within 4 weeks of extraction before and she has worked there 16 yrs............she said people always have to wait for shrinkage - approx 6 mts but at a push it will be done at 4 mts.........so after all the messing and pain, looks like i will be on a winner in the end, the prof said my gums have shrunk at an extrordinary rate !!
Hope to have them shortly, they took another impression this morning.

Well, it has been lashing down here, i have the heating on as it is quite cool......

Another nice, sunny day though a little bit windy now. Sky went really grey before but it's brightened up again thankfully. Swimming tomorrow and really looking forward to it too.

Firstly best wishes for your anniversary, Rose - a little late I know but heartfelt all the same. And Jacky, good to see you have the prof on your side getting things sorted out for you finally - it's a shame it takes that to get things organised properly - this should have all been done in the first place.

Well, we finished our last SATs paper on the Friday morning to be told there was an important emergency staff meeting half an hour later. We were greeted with the news that we were going to be visited by OFSTED inspectors on Wed and Thurs of the next week. Blimey days, we were awaiting boxes to be delivered for us to start packing for our planned move on polling day. Anyway, spent Saturday in school and ended up staying till 6 o'clock Mon and Tues. Up late sorting planning phonics lessons on Tues night cos it wasn't going to come between me and my final installment of Prison Break! So, after all was through, our feedback was an official 'good' which as I say isn't bad for a school that is new and still operating from two sites and planning to pack up ready to move. They were apparently impressed with the quality of teaching in view of us being a new school. But what pressure for everyone, glad it's all over now.

The best way to end a week - celebrating Leigha's first birthday :) I can't believe she is one already. Walking a little further every day. So proud of that little girl and her mummy and daddy, she is an absolute delight to have around.

Off this week for half term but a busy week planned. Into school tomorrow to help with some more packing, swimming with Vicki and Leigha on Wed, visiting my Aunty with Vicki and Leigha on Thurs then Fri they're both coming round here because Vicki is having her hair cut by my niece who has a 17 week old baby - guess who's baby sitting! No complaints though from me :) I just wish Joanne was back home to be part of our busy week :(

Well my friends, I've blabbered on, I hope all are well. Rog, you are constantly in all our thoughts and hoping you are coping.
