i have ax breed now, she is nearly 8 and is a daft old thing, she never barks ever, if a burglar came in and attacked me she would lick him to death she loves apples ,carrots ribena also all other creatures, she licks the guinea pig coz she loves him and also the hamster who just tolerates it Haa

I have the same thing with dog I had to let go last year GG
Still miss him Terribly

BROWN EYES
In early youth I made a vow
That if to Cupid I should bow,
The one for whom he aimed the dart

My collie's wise, large, soft brown eyes!

This is for my Sox he has the most georgeous brown eyes you have seen.

thats why we have one cos we like the breed

My hubby bought me my 1st sheltie Missie before he went to Faulklands then we were posted to Germany and we lived there for 10yrs when i put her in quarintine my eyes were closed for two days with crying, i thought she would die in there with her getting on,we had her for 2more years when i had to let her go, she was my soul mate,I still have her ashes and when I go she is to be put in with me.Kids had big painting of her done for me and I dust it and talk to her every day sometimes shedding a little tear.daft old bat that i am.

thanks clue, going downstairs now to cuddle my little bonny in case she is lonely down there

ALONE AGAIN
I wish someone could tell me
What it is that I've done wrong,
Why I have to stay chained up
And left alone so long.

They seemed so glad to have me
When I came here as a pup.
There were so many things we'd do
While I was growing up.

They couldn't wait to train me
As companion and as friend.
They told me they would never fear
Being left alone again.

The children said they'd feed me,
Said they'd brush me every day,
They'd play with me and walk me,
If only I could stay.

But now the family hasn't time.
They often say I shed.
They wont allow me in the house,
Not even to be fed.

The children never walk me.
They always say, "Not Now!"
I wish that I could please them.
Won't someone tell me how?

All I have is love, you see,
I wish they would explain,
Why they said they wanted me
Then left me on a chain.

i had a sheltie from her being 5 weeks old until she was 13, and although i have had other dogs since none have compared to her, we called her"penny" and she grew up with the kids
