I have a photograph of my great uncle, Arthur William Dunn, and three other young men, posing on a tennis court, dressed for tennis. The back of the photo bears the legend (hand written, in places hard to decipher) Photo: Victoria's Jubilee June 21st 1887
Morton Amateur Tennis Club (Unbeaten for two seasons) J.Gleadhill
J.(T?)H.Hewson W A (H?) Wise A.W.Dunn.
My great uncle was 18 in 1887 and grew up in Winestead (East Riding, Yorkshire) and Hull. I have not been able to locate Morton Tennis Club. Does anyone have connections with these young men?
