John Hill 1883 to 1962 Glasgow

Hi, I'm looking for descendants of my grandfather, John Hill who died aged 78 in 1962 and is buried in Riddrie Park cemetery. I am descended from his first marriage to Mary Devlin and I am looking for descendants from his second marriage to Martha Dickson Walker. They all lived in Glasgow and I have traced them down to the marriage of his daughter Martha on New Year's Eve 1945 (my grandfather's birthday) . Both she and her husband were in the RAF. I cannot find a death certificate for this lady, so it is possible that she is still living. She married a man called Jenkins. I believe they may have had children, but I have not yet checked all birth certificates for that name and neighbourhood. If this means anything to anyone on these boards, please let me know. |
