	I think I would start with the birth cert of 1911 to see his full name. then try to find him further

	Ok think that is the best way to go. I shall send for Thomas b 1911 Birth Cert. Then we will know if we have the right Thomas . Thanks for your help so far. Will get back to this once I have certificate. Sappho
