Hello thank you for replying,

Answer last first, yes this does appear that they married after the birth, but you could be right. This information came from another source, which I felt may have been unreliable, but I have his Thomas Turner's death cert. It states that the name of person who reported death is A M Turner. Alice Maud, and I have marriage cert to state same. I am 999% sure this is right, but who knows Turner is common name! Southwark is right part of London. They all came from Southwark, Surrey.

I have just been hunting for the ofther Turners. I think I have missed Amy White who married West. She has died in 1997 in Bracknell. Shame, but may coming forward we can find her children.

Still having trouble with Gladys. I only found one marriage and that is to a Chapman. I thought my mum said she married a Webb, but I cannot find a trace.

Thanks, Sappho

Marriage was not until 1912, so who is Thomas's, 1911, father?

Marriages Jun 1912
Kybert Alice M Turner Southwark 1d 177
Turner Thomas Kybert Southwark 1d 177

I think you are going to have problems with the name Turner - much too common.
Have you looked to see if anyone else has Thomas Turner senior or Alice Kybert in their tree?
Have you also got their exact dates of birth, as deaths can be traced that way?

Added:
Amy 1895 cannot be a daughter of Thomas 1885.

Thomas Turner b 1911 son of Thomas Turner b 1885 d 1939 and Alice Kybert b 1881 in Southwark, London.

Trying to trace any family coming forward from Thomas b 1911 - marriage, children, etc. Also William Turner (brother) b 1893. Trying to trace any family members from these siblings.

My grandmother was their elder sister. Another sister is Amy Turner b 1895 married Frank White and they had two daughters Amy (again) and Gladys.

Sorry its a lot of family here, but trying to come forward now to find any living relatives.

Any help would be appreciated.

Many thanks,
Sappho
