Find Living Relatives

Thank you all for your assistance in this, as I am new to this service I didnt realise the info usually given when asking for help. I have quite a substantive history of my family tree, the stumbling blocks are Dorothy Tassart born 1931 daughter of Eva Eleanor (nee Moffatt) and Henry Tassart. Eva died in childbirth and it was suggested that Henry couldnt manage Dorothy on his own and she went to 'family' but I cannot find any trace of her after her birth.. I have been in touch with Henry and Gladys family as they too are trying to trace Dorothy but with no luck.
The other mystery is trying to trace the ancestors of James Moffatt born 1804 in Dumfries who came to live in Warrington and met and married Elizabeth.He died in Warrington in 1871 she in 1870. I have all the descendants from them down to my mother Beryl Moffatt,but not going back in James family line. It is not easy as James is a very popular name and Moffatt is also fairly popular in Scotland.
As for Fred Moffatt born 1891( he was the son of Walter Moffatt) his son was Eric born 1927 and he had children Carole and Leslie, all from the Preston area. Thanks again to everyone for their info and help. :-)

Dates would be useful

I have found Bertha Moffatt Married Moore) in the family grave in Preston cemetry. I know Eva died in chidbirth (married name Tassart). Eric married and lived in Preston and had 2 children Carole and Leslie but I cannot contact them via Genes. Any ideas??

I am trying to trace members of the Moffatt family from around Preston area. My grandparents Edith and Thomas Moffatt married there, and other family members all from around the area. Especially Bertha, Eric or Eva Moffatt who I believe still have famiy there which would be my cousins (maybe 1 or 2 removed..) Would really love to hear from them. Michele x
