but the marriage did not last, and I know she married again dont know

As their mother appears to have died many years earlier, it may be a good idea to get the father's death cert (if it's the right man) for the informant's details

You need to go into Search Records. Allen Edwards married Jean Gregory in Hull 1969. Spellings are all important here!

Jean then becomes an Edwards. So then search Jean Edwards for marriages and she does appear to have married again in Hull in 1974.
