Yes I have had matches with tree names from two people on Genes Reunited. I have sent E Mails.

I do not know the relatives in London, have never met them and I am just trying to find out about my mother and father's family. I do not know how many cousins etc. exist. This is what I would like to establish. I do not know their names as they would be married, with different surnames now.

Thank you for trying to help me.

If you've had matches with tree names, as you say, have you tried getting in touch with the tree owners?

Who were the 'relatives in London' with whom you say you lost touch?

I have no idea of any relatives details. I am new to Genes Reuniited and trying every angle! I am just hoping that they use the site as well!

Hi Thanks for the reply. Hoping to find some living relatives. Had a few matches with family tree names. Had my ancestry researched and have most of the information I need.

Valerie,

If you wish to have help in tracing living relatives, you must tell us their names and when they were born.

Please add feedback on here, by using the 'add your reply' box............look below

Hello Valerie,

You can try putting the names you are researching into the Search Trees box above to see if anyone on this site has them in their tree. If you find a connection, you can contact the tree owner. Cx.

What are you looking for?

1700 to 'after the war' is a huge jump.

Have you researched the intervening centuries?

Currently researching family history and keen to get in touch with family of my huguenot descendents. Thomas Whalley married Elizabeth Carlier in 1700 or something. Our descendents from them are Benjamin Whalley, William George Whalley and Henry Whalley.
