Have you seen a copy of your grandparents' marriage certificate?

Sometimes a divorced person is shown as ....'previously the husband / wife of.. ( name of former spouse)
Sometimes though, the person just has.... former marriage disolved... next to their name.

.... A bit hit and miss, but may possibly give a clue.

yes they are his brothers and sisters. i dont think any of them are alive anymore.

yes possibly he served in world war 2 i dont think he married abroad though i think it was still in this country. i know very little about it. my uncle who died when i was a baby started looking and told my dad a very small amount of what he had found.

i think i had seen that once but i couldnt see any birth certificates that he is on other than my dad and uncle. which were in 1962 and either 1960/61.

He appears to have siblings Albert R, Kenneth and Alwyn. Have you had any contact with them or any children for any further information?

Could the other marriage be a long way out of area - did he serve in the army and marry where he had been posted?
There is a marriage in Durham in 1941, which probably gives one son in 1945.
Added: and looks like a daughter in 1958, so perhaps not, unless that 13 year gap is significant.

Possibly this birth:
Births Dec 1919
Court Frederick W Robertson Birkenhead 8a 1050

There is a marriage in Wallasey in 1958 - is that to your grandmother?

When did the second marriage occur, and do you know when and where your grandfather was born?
Thank-you.

Added:
Possibly he was born in 1919.
Have you looked to see if anyone else on here has him in their tree?

I am looking for my grandfather's (Frederick W Court) family, which he had before he married my grandmother. He was born on the Wirral and supposedly had 2 children (boys?) in a previous marriage. If anyone has any information can you please message me. I think they may be in Newcastle or somewhere north of Wirral.
