I lived on that road too.

It does not make sense as she has it as Abraham's second marriage/ relationship according to her and his first wife does not die until 1918 .
There are children with death datesbut marked private so worth talking to her though.

A tree on Ancestry has Violet marrying a Butler but it is unverified.

Hello, can anyone help me please?

I am trying to discover what happened to my gr Uncle, Martin Andrew George Butler, who was born February 1916, in the Woolwich/Plumstead area.

All I know is that he was fostered at a young age by Violet Mabel Dunn, but then disappeared of all trace.

I am not sure whether he went to war, or moved away. I have checked death records, but can't find anything to say he died.

He may be in a home for the elderly. Who knows!

If anyone can help as to how I can search records for either type of home that would be appreciated.
