i HAVE a limited amount of information abt my uncle. But his fathers name (SUPPOSEDLY) was

BENJAMIN CHARLES TERRELL (MY GRANPA) BORN IN ST OLAVE BN 1901 26th nov.resturant chef.
the info as follows:


B O'neil BORN ABT 1936 registered in kensington london. Not sure if My granpa married Mother O'neil, but on granpa death cert it gives thename and Son as witness.

if anyone can help with any other information on this family please can you get in touch.

just an idea, if you edit your thread so a surname shows in title you will get more hits. i often scroll down just to see if there are names i know but it would take too long to lok at all threads that just say someting generic like "need help"good luck

am i not allowed to keep them on there? no I havent tried the phone books. i realy wouldnt know which ones to lookat

have tried 192.c0m and found one who lives up the road from me..
now how do i find out if its him? mmm

my friend also lives on the sme stree. how strange..
does anyone have any suggestions on how i can go further with this? i do realise my uncle is still living and may or may not have any idea that I and the family exist.. it could be a very touchy subject....

Can anyone find an adress number on the elcetrol ?

I thought you have just said you have his address?

If not you will need to buy credits or look for a phone number on BT online. but as many people are ex directory these days you may not find one

If you have the address from 192.com, write a very carefully worded letter asking if he knows the names you have as you think you may be related.

Do NOT please phone up or turn up.... a letter is much better as it gives the person time to read and digest and consider what they want to do (if it is him) , without being 'put on the spot', which is important for everyone but particularly for an older person imo.
