Are you related to this person? do you know who his parents were?

Have you tried the search trees? or looked for any marriage or children for him on freebmd?

No, I have only this week known of his existence. I am Australian and up until now my research has mostly been done on another site.

I do know that his name was Sidney......not Sydney.

Sidney and Sydney do seem to be interchangeable. I've seen that before, that's why I looked for the other spelling.

If he died after 1969 then his death can be searched for by his date of birth

Most of the people who help on these boards are not full members, I am just a standard member of this site
