HOWSON, Violet Born the October 22, 1912 in England. Died August 27, 2011 in South Surrey. She was predeceased by her husband, The Reverend Harry Howson in 2004 and by sisters Elizabeth, Hilda, Gladys, Lill and brothers Jack and Joseph. She is lovingly remembered and sadly missed by sisters Winnifred of Peterborough, Ont., Irene of Dauphin, Man., Joyce of Calgary, Alta. and brother Ronald of South Surrey; 3 nephews Jim Dearing of Peterborough, Ont, Jim Sladek of Calgary, Alta. and George Dearing of High River, Alta. and families. A memorial service will be held at the Church of The Holy Trinity, 15115 Roper Ave., White Rock, BC on Friday, Sept. 9 at 2:00 p.m. with the burial of ashes in the memorial garden. Flowers gratefully declined. Published in Vancouver Sun and/or The Province on September 6, 2011

Again no mention of children.

This looks like him returning to England in 1946. He was a clergyman, his intended future permanent residence was England. His destination was 3 Myers Rd., Liverpool.

Not sure if it matters, but an Ancestry tree has him as Robert Henry. There is this obituary - no mention of any children:

HOWSON _ Robert Henry (Harry) died on April 5th, 2004 at age 89 years. Born in Liverpool, England, immigrated to Saskatoon and was ordained in the Anglican Church of Canada in Saskatoon. Served the church in Saskatchewan and Ontario before enlisting in the R.C.A.F. as a chaplain serving in Canada, France and Germany. Harry will be sadlymissed by his wife Violet of 57 years. Predeceased by father and mother and brother Ernest. Memorial Service will be held at the Church of the Holy Trinity, 15115 Roper Avenue, White Rock, B.C. on Wednesday, April 14th at 1:30 p.m. with the burial of ashes in the Memorial Garden at Holy Trinity Church. Flowers gratefully declined.

Do you know when Harry was Born or how old he was when he died?

I am looking for relatives of my cousin Rev Harry Howson, who I believe died in 2004. I have found records of him training in Emmanual College Saskatoon in 1944, and later he seems to have lived in the Vancouver area.

I know his parents Ernest and Margaret lived in Liverpool England so I assume he was born there.

His wife seems to have been Violet who died last year: 2011.
