I thank both Reggie & Flip for their informative replies Which I have noted. I have recieved from another a very detailed reply regarding the Lowe's for which I'm extremely grateful.
It would therefore seem that my original posting of the 3rd of December has brought and is still bringing me more information.

Your mothers marriage is also to be found on the website I posted. They married 26/2/1949, her father Frederick Edwards, engineer and his father William Albert Lowe, quarryman. Witnesses Desmond Sidney Lowe and Maurice Albert Lowe.

Unless your half sister died outside England & Wales, there is the strong possibility she is still alive.

Not sure you have the right marriage for your half-sister, she was Lowe but the marriage you refer to was to an Edwards?

Her sons death reg March, your mothers in June, so seems unlikely they died together?

Looking for more info about my birth mother E.D. Edwards/Lowe (1923-1997), lived in Malmesbury ,Chipping Sodbury & North Somerset.. Brothers Rchard N. 1925 & Patrick J Edwards 1929 Malmesbury. E.D.E married Vivian William Lowe in 1949 (1921-1996)
E.D. E's children Jane R. Lowe (my half sister) 1949-? Married Nicholas Totney 1987?
E.D.E. sons Jeremy William Lowe 1951-1997 & John Vivian Lowe 1961-2000
Did mother & son die in a car accident? in Mendip Somerset?
I was born Robin Patrick Edwards 1945 registered in Brokenborough Wilts and last saw E.D.E late 1948 Now 67 and am a retired chartered building surveyor
