Does anyone know a Yvette L Marsh - her mother's maiden name is Vera MV Yeates and Yvette was born in Wallasey, Cheshire.

Chances of anyone just knowing her is probably small.

What other info do you have about her.ie birth year siblings etc .

Have you looked on Search Trees or tried www.192.com if she is of an age to be on the electoral rolls.

OK a look for the name shows she was born in 1956 Wallasey Cheshire .

parents married in 1949 you should be able to find the marriage on FreeBMD

Are you her mother? if so when did you last have contact?

There was an Yvette L Marsh in Retford in 2002 on 192.com, and there is a marriage for Yvette L Marsh in the same area in 2001.

Yvette in Retford is most probably by marriage, so not her.

If Vera is the Mother, and Yvette has been adopted (as she is not showing up elsewhere) then surely Vera will know that Yvette's name has changed?

In which case, Peter, surely Vera is keen for this to be made public if she wants to find her?

I am not Yvette's mother she is my cousin, her mother was my father's sister and I was named after her. I know she was born in Wallasey in 1956 but cannot find any further trace of either my Aunt or Cousin - I am trying to put my family tree together and found that Yvette existing as we lost touch back in the late 50's and I hoped that someone might know her - she possibly did get married and I think she has reverted back to her maiden name.

There is no record of a marriage for Yvette

It looks like her father died in 1973

You could always contact the home where she was living , and inquire about her, if she has passed away they may have a next of kin for her?

Yes thanks it looks like that is my Aunt now will try and locate cousin Yvette. I have asked (Elizabeth) for permission to look at her tree but have not received any response - I did notice she was showing against a lot of my ancestors so thought she might be related somewhere but will keep trying. How did you see her tree to find this information?

I have not seen her tree, just saw that Vera was a match when I did a search. However, Elizabeth may no longer be a member, and have changed her email address, so may not reply.

If you contact the home, you may be able to find if Vera is still alive, or not. That way looks more fruitful.

Do you know what the L stands for in Yvette's middle name?

I think I found her marriage under Yvette-Lucinda. She is now Moloney and has a son.
