Find Living Relatives

I’m looking for a male born about 1928 in Birmingham.
His mother’s surname is unknown, but her first name was Elizabeth and HER mother was also Elizabeth.
His father was Francis Frank COOPE (b1898,Aston, Birmingham. Francis (or Frank as he was known) was, at one time, a tram-driver in Birmingham.)
About 1930 they lived in Blucher Street, Birmingham.
I’d appreciate any information.

have you looked for a marriage for Francis first that will give his wife's name then you can crosscheck any births that show,

Francis Frank COOPE was the father of this male child, but he was not married to the mother.

I have the marriages of Francis Frank COOPE, but these were nothing to do with this child.

He may not be recorded as the child's father even.

Not much to go on, I know. I've tried in the past on many occasions - even spoken to member of the family of that generation, but came across brick walls and closed doors!

Really if they werent married and the fathers name isnt on the birth cert then cant see how you would find it

If they lived in Blucher Street, Birmingham and you have the house number you could look at old electoral rolls and the local library.

Blucher street doesn't look to be that big, so you might be able to look without the house number.

If the man was not married to his child's mother, how do you know that he WAS the father?

Living with a Mary Ann Coope

He married Constance Cartwright in 1918 and divorced in 1920 and he seems to be living with Mary Ann from that time...was she his mother perhaps?

Mary Ann is living alone in 1930 but not seeing a Francis or Frank in Birmingham after 1927

Thank you everyone for trying to help. I realise that this is a real wild goose chase and the possibility of finding this unnamed male is very slim.
I've been looking for over 30 years for him and now it's time to call it a day.

The only information I have of him is as stated in 'Find Living Relatives' above. If I had the mother's surname, this would be great - buty I don't.
