please can any one tell me about a george harnett who worked in gale poldens printers in early 50s would love to hear from him or anyone who new him.i belive he went back to stoke on trent.

Use Friends Reunited..........it has a workplace section

Unless you know his birth year, tracing him will be difficult.

192.com has 4 George Harnetts living Stoke. This is a pay-per-view site unfortunately. BT online is free but only shows initials - there is one G. Harnett in Stoke.
You should be able to access telephone directories at your nearest main library, worth a try.
If you know where & when he was born, as Reggie says, this would be very helpful as you might find a middle initial, or names of siblings.
