Hi, have been tracing my family members for a long time and been successfull in finding my neice's/nephew. Recently I aquired some important information regarding my background. I was trying to trace my younger brother who's name I was told was johnnie...BUT ..have discovered is name is DAVID BRETT..born @ 1953 - 1955 in the London area possibly. David like myself was fostered out. Our mum was born Mary Smith 1915, married first to a Sidney doerffer, then to a Henry Brett...any help with this now would be appreciated please.....

Start by looking for his name in 'search all trees'

Look at freebmd to ascertain accurate birth info

..........if he wasn't adopted, try www.192.com

The Doerffer/Brett marriage was in 1952

Sidney re-married and father a number of offspring
