I am looking for a Michael Hammond b 1946 in Leicester.
son of Albert R Hammond & Dorothy Hammond nee Clarke,
He has two distant cousins looking for him!!

Have you tried 192.com? There are only a few Michael Hammonds showing for Leicester so might be worth a try.
When and where were he and his parents last living, and did he marry do you know?

There are just so many Michael Hammonds. Your best bet is to order any death certs for his parents and see if he is the informant.

Albert's mother was a 'Howe' not Cross but the marriage is right & I will send for a death cert as he could well have moved to Boston. Fingers crossed!!

which would be a very late registration for 29 October birth, unfortunately.

Albert could still be alive, or died after 2006

Do you know what the 'R' stands for?

We have so little to go on. Michael Hammond b 1946,Leicester was the son of
Albert R Hammond & Dorothy Clarke
Albert's birth reg. 1st qtr 1922. mother Howe - 7a 541. His mother was Ida E Howe.
I agree the death of Albert Reginald d1990 Boston - Vol 7 1418 is rather a late registration. I will contact the other branch of our family, maybe he will know if he was Albert Reginald.. If so maybe a copy of the d.c would give more detail,
Reason for finding Michael - he is the last male Hammond & hopefully has a son
So sad to think our name could shortly disappear!! -
