My brother was born in the liverpool area but was I believe possibly registered in liverpool north and south. He was adopted shortly after birth t I have sent for the birth cents both the same mothers name both born at the same time so possible a mistake in the liverpool south listing.

Was he adopted? His birth ref doesn't indicate he was.

If not there is a possible marriage for the same area in 1987 that could fit with his age .

If he was adopted, add yourself to the national adoption contact register

But, first, get accurate info about his name..................look for the birth record on freebmd.

Welcome to the boards Elsie.
As you will appreciate, there must be several men with this name in the UK - I am assuming that is where he was born?
Chances of anybody who knows him seeing this are slim. Therefore you need to tell us what location we are looking at.
Have you tried sites such as Friends Reunited, Facebook or 192.com? And do check other members' trees - a long shot but worth a try. The 'search all member trees' option is in the search box above right.
