Have you looked in 'search all trees'?

That's where you need to look to if you hope to find links on GR

What research have you done yourself? We don't want to be duplicating what you've done...................

When and where did John Murtagh marry?

When and where was Jane born?

When and where was each of the children born?

Gail Report 22 Jul 2013 22:56

I am looking for details of my great grandfather John Murtagh who I believe was born in Howth (Dublin) around 1876. He married a lady called Jane Lawlor. They moved to Barrowinfurness and had 3 children, John Gerard, Margaret (married Jack Landon and moved to Denton) and Patrick. Patrick died in 1928 and is buried in Barrow Borough Cemetry along with his mother Jane (1952) and John Murtagh was laid to rest also in 1963 when he was flown from the Isle of Man to be laid to rest.
He worked as a Submarine Builders labourer.
If anyone has any information in relation to my family listed above or prior, I would be most grateful.
Gail Murtagh (Isle of Man)
