hi trying to find family of johnny mackenzie his daughters were ann, joyce, nelda, doreen and muriel all originally from strathpeffer where johnny had his own garage in the 1940s/60s johnny died in the 1960s his wife was alice buried at tomnahurich cemetery in inverness

Isobel, the best way to work forward from your Mackenzie relatives is to visit the Scotlandspeople Centre (if you live in Scotland). You can then work forward finding marriages, births of children, marriages of children, deaths etc. until you find a fairly recent address. For a daily fee of £15.00 you can view all register entries. You can't take printouts of recent events but you can take notes.

Informants on death certificates will give their address, so that should help.

Your search will be time consuming with a surname like Mackenzie but it can be done.
